We don't always watch a lot of TV at night, especially when our normally scheduled shows aren't on. But tonight we were flipping channels and found this lovely gem:
http://abc.go.com/shows/conveyor-belt-of-love
Conveyor Belt of Love. Where women get to sit and say if they are "interested" or "not interested" in a series of men that are rolled out on a conveyor belt doing a variety of things (such as immitating Chris Farley, professing a more-than-likely unhealthy love for your dog & showcasing Native American dances) in order to impress.
Now did I miss something, or has no one else ever heard of this show until tonight?
And also, is it horrible that we were mildly entertained and voted to keep on watching the show for the full hour?
And how is this on ABC? and not FOX? or MTV?
So, who else watched? And who will be tuning in next week?

I haven't seen the show, but it sounds like a must see to me. Only it is on during Intervention and - wait for it - that's a deal breaker ladies. I'm so glad that you have a blog going cuz! Can't wait for more posts.
I heard about it on KISS one morning. I completely forgot it and the Bachelor were both on last night but I WILL be tuning in next week. :-)
Even Jim loved it. In fact, I think he was a little more into it than I was at first. In the second part of the show, you get to see the ladies go out on a date with their man of choice.
I think this show could be the "twitter" of reality dating shows. It's fast-paced, simple, short & totally ridiculous.
a co-worker watched this too and raved about it all day at work yesterday - am going to try catching it on hulu this weekend!
I watched that train wreck, and sadly, I would watch it again and again. I laughed so hard that the self absorbed woman, picked Johnny Pride, who has to be GAY. And then their dogs...wow. Yep, I'll tune in again, but this is the only time I will admit it.
Johnny Pride was so awful. His dog was wearing more clothes than he was. And a leather vest at that! Agreed, he has to be gay.
This type of show isn't normally my cup of tea at all, but I will be tuning in for at least a few weeks more.
